Although, it could be that .NET is a better/more efficient network client than Fox accessing tables natively.
Whatever the reason for the performance gain, what my test results show is that .Net is not slower than Fox, which is what a lot of people seem to assume, I'm mainly surprised because I was under the impression VFP accessing native data was far superior to using OLE DB.
I've tried this without having the network overhead, you'll see those results in another thread I've posted.
