What is being ignored is the POSSIBILITY - that in some cases, the Fox OLE-DB Provider may be BETTER than native Fox Access. It would have to be fleshed out a bit more - but it could indeed be the case. I for one would not be surprised if this was the case.

It certainly is an interesting scenario for further testing. That's why my next sentence said:

"If the SQL Statements are identical, but there is more network traffic from the PRG, that would mean that the OLE-DB driver was more efficient, which would be very interesting to know."
