The switch takes place as the events move from the modal forms .cmdExit.Click() method which on has THISFORM.Release() in it and when it enters the modal forms .Destroy() event where I'm killing some object references, it switches. This is from the debugger. There are no lines of code to change anything regarding menus. It just happens when it enters the .Destroy() event. Oh well.
