Hi Kurt,
It's much easier to manage stored procedures than DTS packages. If you've a choice stick with sproc's. If you've remote access to shop's SQL Servers, you can create sproc's remotely using Query Analyzer. Or you can send sproc's script to the remote site and ask them to run it from QA.
