True, but it does make one wonder if, possibly, any better .NET caching might be the result of simply installing .NET on a system. In other words, VFP might also benefit.
I do not have the .NET framework installed on either of my systems so I can't check that out.

One can easily imagine the need to seriously tweak cache management in a .NET environment given the way data access works there. I wonder if it's specific to .NET applications or general across the OS.
