I'm still not happy with passing "thisform" as a param to the second form. I don't know this command construct (perhaps I'm just ignorant of it) but I don't thingk it can do any good.
Secondly, I don't know if it's a typo of yours for this thread but you say:
locate for descriptio=thisfrom.text2.value
which should be:
locate for descriptio=THISFORM.text2.value
Any help?
