Hi David,
>With VFP's greater support of ActiveX I was hoping a flood of 'I used this cool ActiveX control in VFP' type posts but it seems all us geeks have been stuck in 'xbase' mode instead of 'building cool Windows apps' mode.

I wanted to answer this yesterday <*g*>
I had a cool demo menu but I forgot where I got this from. So I searched for it before I posted a reply. But sorry I couldn't find it anywhere. Tried to go to the homepage, but it's down (dead ?).
Here is the link if you want to try
http://www.bvksoft.ru/menubar.htmor you can try to contact the author:
bvksoft at bvksoft dot ru
I did a small experiment myself (not finish yet) to make VFP dropdown menu highlighted with 3 colors (gradient), looks nice :-)
Update:
This site has many ActiveX controls that works with VFP, try it.
