Some ideas:

  • Assign an identifier manually, and store it in a table.
  • Get the MAC number of the network card. This identification is supposed to be unique for each network card.
  • Use the GUID function. This will give you a different number every time, so if you want to repeat the number, you will have to save it. The GUID is also based on the MAC number; if no MAC is available, a pseudo-random number is generated, which is highly improbable of repeating anywhere in the World.
