Can someone please suggest a way to persist a dataset between postbacks. I need to have a copy of the dataset when I first enter the web form. I then will do multiple postbacks after which I will need to compare the dataset that I saved, upon web form entry, to what I then download from the server. In this way I can tell if I will be posting back to the most recent version of the data. I have done this with a session variable but I would like to do it with other options.
