We have a Visual Foxpro product that is sold nationally. The current system uses native Foxpro databases/tables and we are considering using SQL Server or MySQL.

1. For those of you that have done this, what kind of problems did you encounter in converting?

2. What advantages/disadvantages to using SQL Server vs MySQL?

3. Currently, we use the Stonefield SDT product to update our user's tables with structure changes. How is this done with SQL Server or MyQL?

4. Is there a document or book that might help with the conversion?

Any advice/comments would be appreciated.

Thanks...
