I was in Houston this past October and it wasn't so bad, but that was over a weekend. Traffic was actually light, but I'll bet that Monday through Friday is certainly a nightmare. I was trying to leave Houston when a really bad thunderstorm hit. Man, that was like a typhoon! I couldn't even tell what side of the road I was on and neither could anyone else. Most people pulled over to let it pass. I kept going on to Austin, I think down 290?

I don't think that I'd want to live in Houston any more unless I could live on the outskirts.
