One note about crunching data with SQL Server. I have tables with millions of records and complex relationships. I have no problem (subjective) myself as is true with the users with the speed we have attained. That is not saying much of value other than people are not at odds with the speed of a large system pulling data with ASP.NET - ADO.NET.

Using ADO was very painful and ADO.NET is a great improvement. With ADO I feel like I should go to lunch before a dataset is created! :)
