That does work in VFP, 8 but I am going to need to use WestWind wwIPSTUFF library with this form and I think that means I will have to be using VFP 6.

I tried setting focus to an object on the form (ie. oform.cmdSelect.setfocus()) but that didn't work either. My approach must be all wrong here. I can't believe this should be so difficult.
