I have had problems with setting two different controls on the same form to the same controlsource. Specifically, changing the value would result in a blank value being stored to that field in the table. I should clarify that this happens on data entry forms created using the VFP form generator so it may have to do with the method code in the "Save" button provided in the buttons class and not truly be a VFP characteristic, which I suspect is what you are waiting to tell me.
