OK, now you are realing talking beautiful. Red Rock Canyon is so beautiful that words cannot describe it. However, since many feel it to be a spiritual center or retreat and it is overwridden with tourists, I seldom recommend it to anyone anymore....
>Cecil: Northern Arizona University or NAU. Flagstaff has an extensive antique shop area as well as coffee houses. It will be cold in October, though. A little closer to town is Sedona. The red rock area, which is very popular. Tucson on the other hand has the Desert Sonoran Museum, two caves to explore, Tombstone where the shootout at the OK Corral took place. And it will be comfortable.
