I finally found the answer to why RUN RD /S doesn't work!

Go to your VFP Home directory (for me it's C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual FoxPro 7). Find the FoxRun.pif file. Go to properties, click Program tab and change the 'cmd line' program from command.com to cmd.exe.
