when using VFP9 Beta and a Mysql server connection using ODBC I was hoping that Blobs which now exist in VFP as a data type would convert correctly from the Mysql Server as a blob. But alas no, Blobs with Mysql turn into General fields just as in 5,6,7,8.

I dont have access to a MS Sql server to duplicate this... Hoping someone out there does.

I have asked MS why this is, . maybe by design ? No response.. Any clue ?
