John,
You've asked a question that we have been struggling with internally for some time. Do we recommend this product when MS will have a variation of it in the next release of NT (and also as an add-on to NT 4.0).
Right now, the rumors are not good on the thin client in NT. It appears to be much slower than the current WinFrame architecture. From that standpoint, I'd say look into WinFrame. Then you can look at upgrading to NT 5.0 when it's got all the kinks worked out. That's kind of the stance we're taking. This is a workable solution today, and you can always upgrade to something else (and MS has guaranteed an upgrade path) when it becomes a viable solution for you.
My understanding is that Citrix will continue to make WinFrame better, while also creating an enhanced client that will work with the NT 5 version. Their client will be the "premiere" client offering many more options than the one that MS will be putting out.
