>I'm originally from right next door (Chicago) and last year we were driving back from there and stopped somewhere in Central (or Southern) Indiana. That's when I first learned about them always being on Eastern Standard. According to the time set dialog, Eastern Indiana is Eastern Time, but it doesn't show Western Indiana. Despite all the trips I've made to the NW corner of the state, I don't remember there being a difference in time. Maybe I just never paid attention.:-)

Here's a site I found with the ultimate word on Indiana time:

http://monon.mccsc.edu/time.html

It's mostly EST year-round (which makes people sometimes think that it's CDT in summer), but there are small pockets of real CT in the NW & SW corners of the state. There are seasonal ET pockets in the south & SE, also. What a mess! :)
