Donald,

According to tech support at HP, the 560 printer driver is a older standard driver and does not support the features of the 600 series.
I tested it using the 560c driver that comes with Windows95 and had no problem, so you are right - it does work. My problem is my software is going to up to 400 companies. I can't tell them all to change the printer driver if they have a newer HP Deskjet. This would effect all printing to this printer.

Just got word from another person that he found a similar problem with the 690 series driver! Where does it stop.

I did a test with Microsoft Word 8.0. Print preview releases resources properly. SO --- now do we have a VFP problem or a HP Driver problem?

Robert

>>I believe this to be true, but I don't know if this is a problem with other HP Deskjet Printers. I am building a program that may be used by up to 400 locations and I have to recommend hardware also. I like HP products, but I can't suggest purchasing one if this is a consistant problem with their drivers or if I just have a driver with a leak. I have the latest, confirmed this with HP tech support. They forwarded this issue onto their UPPER techies?
