Well, I certainly tried it with the site that you mentioned before suggesting it Yuri. And it worked fine. I had to do that, to ascertain that the characters would be correct.

I do not believe that the difference is "english versus russian sites". There could be a lot of
other issues.

You find the item with the title you want. DON'T use $. Use ATC() so you have a position.

Use this position. Check the surrounding text for its attributes (class, href, whatever). You check what type of element it is (in this case IMG). Count how many other instances of this element there are before this one in the body of the page.

Now you have what you need. Go back to the IE instance. Iterate through the DOM's collection of elements of this particular type. Find the Nth one, or use the element's attributes to verify what you're looking for.
