How about not using the Adobe dialog to let them pick the filename? If there aren't other options they need to pick there you can usually send the result of the report directly to a named file. In fact, sometimes it's preferable *not* to let them pick options in a printer driver dialog that might conflict with the needs of your report <s>.

There are two ways to do it:

1) set up the Adobe driver to go to a named file as the port rather than whatever its default is. I have never done this with Adobe but it's often possible.

2) use TO FILE (lcfilename) after a SET PRINTER TO NAME (adobe_driver_setup).

Either way you use a VFP dialog to ask them to pick the filename. In option #1, you copy the named file to the user's chosen name after the REPORT FORM command returns. In option #2 you obviously use the filename the user chose in the REPORT FORM command.
