I have a top level form that has sub forms (in-top-level forms). The main sub form is modeless (a transaction list) but all other sub forms are modal.

If data is changed in the modal sub form then the user is pronpted via a messagebox to save the data. The opening of the messagebox in turn disables the close window buttom in the top level form and the only way to reactive it is to change to another window and back.

Unfortunately, using the debugger to track this is ineffective because it is in effect changing window. I have tried setting the .closeable flag in the top-level window but this has no effect.

Could some kind soul please advise me what flag I need to set to re-enable the close window button?
