Right... that's what I just said, just not as specifically as you stated it. In the case above I was using the term "server" to mean the software not the machine.

Of course, anyone considering using any software or tool should make it a point to read and understand the license directly from the vendor's web site and license agreement. As I have found out several times when some one stated things incorrectly to me about a products license and reading the actual license is the only way I got the full details.

My main point was that SQL RS could possible be used without any extra cost if you are using SQL server already, as opposed to RAS always incuring a cost.
