I have noticed the same thing on our network apps, but I think foxtalk addressed the issue about VFP and memory. The bottom line is that VFP will do a lot of disk swapping if the memory is not available for it to use. Do a search here on SYS(3050) and I think there have been several threads on this subject. The foxtalk issue might be referenced also.
