I think it's about time to freeze those 2 categories...

They made sense when those versions were in beta or too new to be generally used accross the board, but now they just make it difficult to decide where to post a message or where to look for specific answers.

For example, if I have a question related to forms under vfp8. Should I post it in the Forms category, in the vfp8 category, or both?

These categories are like one of those provisional bridges built 40 years ago, to be replaced with permanent ones, a year or two later, but 40 years later, we're still crossing the provisional ones.
