I've been having trouble getting a sites to work locally. I'm using the BASE tag, but unless I change all references in the Index.htm to "../images/Picture.jpg" instead of "/images/Picture.jpg" (which is what works on the host server) the files are not referenced. The same is true for any subdirectory be it stylesheets, javascripts, other link pages, etc. I've done some Googling, but have not come across how to work locally and then just ftp to the server without having to modify the source first.
