>>Dear Robert,
>>
>>I face the same problem at HP690C and 670C. Before read your message, I just think it is a bug of VFP. Unfortunately, my built number is 400, If you have solve the problem, please let me know.
>>
>>Thank you.
>>
>>>I've duplicated this on 3 machines. I have a HP Deskjet 670c. I created a small .exe having 1 table and 1 report using the HP Deskjet as default printer.
>>>
>>>I turn on the Windows95 Resource meter found by clicking 'Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Resource Meter'
>>>(If you don't have this file you can install it. It is in the 'Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs - Windows Setup - Accessories'
>>>
>>>Next I run the VFP5 .exe File I created. (You can do this in development or LIVE!)
>>>Take a look at your resource meter taking particular note of 'SYSTEM and GDI' percentages.
>>>
>>>Next I PREVIEW the Report.
>>>Close the Report
>>>Review Resources
>>>PREVIEW the Report
>>>Close the Report
>>>Review Resources
>>>
>>>My resources continually go down without releasing themselves. This will continue till it locks up the machine.
>>>
>>>Next I repeated the test to a Panasonic Printer as my default.
>>>Recreated the .exe and tried again.
>>>No problem, the resources release themselves as necessary.
>>>
>>>I tried this with a HP4si Printer. No Problem.
>>>I installed the HP 560c Printer using the Windows 95 supplied by Microsoft. No problem.
>>>
>>>Went back to HP670c - Lost resources until it locked me out.
>>>
>>>Any suggestions?

Robert,
Have you d/l the latest drivers?? I just d/l the drivers for an 820cse, and notice they had new drivers for a lot of their deskjet printers..
