Joe,
>I have added an mmButton to a user control which includes the mmButton and an imagelist. The imagelist and imageindex properties have been set on the button. At first I couldn't get any image to display and then discovered that it had to do with the FlatStyle property. When I changed it to "standard" I got the image to display on the button in design view of the user control.

Unfortunately, the standard Windows Forms buttons do not support images when set to FlatStyle.System.
At any rate, I just tried this and it worked fine for me...I'm not sure what's going on here. Have you tried adding the image file to your project as an embedded resource?
