Hi,
Have you tried Dragan's suggestion when saving the record with the changes. i.e. I remember a trick which used to work in VFP5 - after appending a record and tableupdate(), a simple reccount() call (even with discarding its result) used to force VFP to update the table header. Now while this may not work with current networks and OS quirks, it may be worth a try. It was in the days in W98, W95 and NT4, so, who knows, it may help.
>&lcfilter is used for certain tables where we need to filter off records. It is taken from a property within the form itself. It is populated during programming time.
>The values typically consist of the where clause portion of a SQL. Example : "where inv_type='C'" (denoting cash invoices) etc. However, when used in the search, the "where" word is stripped hence the scan will contain values with "and inv_type='C'".
>Hope this clarifies the position.
