John,

I certainly do not mean to disparage to qualifications of the people you work with. That said, working on a team - and possessing VFP/SQL experience -is only 1 part of the equation. As I understand it, they are looking for a PM/Architect type as well... Of course, some/all of your team could in fact qualify.

As Mark M. said, they have been looking for somebody for a long time. Given their requirements, there are not too many people who could fit the bill.
