I have never heard about this bug. Page# and Date() should be printed OK for any VFP version. If something strange happening, it's usually helpful to try few steps:
1. Move report field(s) by one pixel.
if it doesn't help
2. Delete report field and create new one.
3. Recreate whole report by COPY and PASTE and TEST.
