Jim;

You have to be careful about what you say in this country. Linda Ronstadt found that out recently.

Ms. Ronstadt said according to a local television newsperson she did not like to perform in front of Republicans or the Religious Right. At least the lady speaks her mind.

In these days of Home Land Security and the Patriot Act you have to be careful. We thought Geroge Orwell went too far with 1984 - we have only just begun! :)

I am sure that I would never perform in front of a bunch of gamblers who were drinking. That crowd is one I avoid!

>>Did you see Bowling for Columbine? Michael Moore visited Toronto and found that many people that lived downtown left their doors unlocked whether at home or not.

>Actually, when I did own a house in Toronto that was relatively downtown, I did too. But that was only after having a long drawn out agrument with the lady of the day where I finally had to say that I'd take full responsibility for anything that happened.

>Didn't see the bowling movie, but did see Farenheit 9/11. Thought it told a wild tale of malevolence. But do wonder if similar hasn't gone on in all halls of power more or less all the time. Bad confluences this time < s >
