Yeah, I know what you mean. However, I know in my case, that if I do not set up a structured training course that will cover all bases, I'd drift for a while, not knowing what is next. Maybe I need to set up some kind of plan to approach .NET.

I did take a C# class, but right in the middle of it last year, my younger brother passed away unexpectedly. I lost focus on the course. I passed it but I could have done better. I am also a family man, you know, with kids, and they sometimes also distract me from time to time as I chase them through the house to get them to do their chores, homework, etc. <g> (Okay, enough with excuses.) I am not the stay-up-until-midnight or 2:00 AM bleary eyed programmer that has no social life; I know that if I were that kind of developer, I'd already know .NET, but I'd probably also have ulcers. (Moderation in all things?)

>>Has anyone on this forum bought and used AppDev's training program for the C#.NET track of the MCSD program?
>>
>>I am considering going this route to get the necessary training to make the transition from Visual FoxPro to .NET, specifically into C# and also SQL Server 2000.
>>
>>I once used AppDev's CD's for Visual FoxPro and didn't think that they were that good. The response I got from the sales rep. was that .NET is their specialty.
>>
>>They want $2,097.00 and will break the payments up over a 6-month period, making this $359.50 per month.
>>
>>Anyone got any ideas on this type of training? Is it worth it?
