I’m starting to learn about MM 7.0 Biz Rules. I’m reading the section of the manual entitled “Specifying and Creating Business rules”. Along with the reading I decided to look at some of the framework’s example. I found the UserRules class ( in aUserBiz ) and opened it up for a peek. I see code in an IsUserIdUnique method ( added to this class ) and therefore was expecting to see an entry in the CheckRules Method:. This. IsUserIdUnique No luck. I put in a SET STEP ON command in the IsUserIdUnique method thinking that I could then follow where the code is called from, but the method appears to never be called.

I also did a text search of the document, no reference to the IsUserIdUnique method.

So I’m thinking that either it should be hooked up and was forgotten to, or it was added just as an example and I the developer can hook it up if I need to.

Any comments?
