I had the same problem when I moved to VFP8. The quick fix was to assign icon in the main program

_Screen.Icon = "Utility.ico"

The icon that was associated with the app is not appearing in the upper left corner at run time instead a generic windows icon is displayed. I've made sure that icon is associated with project and included in the project as one of "other files". Has anybody experieced such thing?
