Hello,

I use Crystal 9 Developer and distribute the Crystal runtime engine. Some of my clients have no problem printing reports, others print garbage. I understand that Crystal 9 used Unicode and that is where the problem is, i.e, if the print driver does not use Unicode, garbage appears on the report. Example printer: Kyocera Mita prints garbage.

I have suggested to my users to upgrade to the most recent print drivers. Those who have, still have the problem.

QUESTION: Is there a workaround for this issue?

If I upgrade to Crystal 10, will this solve the problem? I understand Crystal will come out with version 11 by years end. Any info on this?

Can anyone recommend another Report program other than Crystal that will work with VFP, SQL Server and .NET?

Thanks,

TFISHER
