Did you check out the "Upgrading": instructions in the MM .NET What's New Guide?

In all existing Web Forms and Windows Forms applications add the following setting within the node of your web.config or app.config file:

<!-- Specifies the primary key of the default application language
	(for localization purposes). Only used when LocalizeApp="true"
	-->
	<add key="DefaultLanguage" value="1" />

If you downloaded version 1.2 on the first day then your What's New Guide did not contain this information in the "Upgrading" section.
