Hi All,

I was reading the doc about Runtime probing. It seems that the CLR will probe the GAC for a dll. Great... and that works. I have my app on the web server, I have my 8 project .dll's in the bin folder. I have the Xheo licensing dll and the Crystal Reports dll's in the GAC... Every thing runs fine.

But, when I build the solution, it seems that even though we have those dll's in the Dev machines GAC, it still requires the file to be in the "path" displayed in the property of the reference. Why is that? Should building look for the references in the same places runtime does? Is there a way for it to do this?

Thanks,
BOb
