Besides the suggestions you've already gotten, I'd suggest reading the help
files on Private DataSessions, CURVAL(), OLDVAL(), GETFLDSTATE(), and buffering
(short take on buffering: set everything to optimistic table buffering in the DE
unless proven otherwise). If you know how to use these, you know most of what you need for writing multiuser apps.

Also, in the March 1996(7?) FoxPro Advisor, Mac Rubel had a good article on
resolving update conflicts in multiuser apps. I ended up typing it into my
own framework...
