"Page at a time" does not mean that each page is a separate print job. The print job is still open until you are done with all pages.

As Sergey mentioned, you can do this in VFP 8 with the NOPAGEEJECT clause. However, in VFP 8, previewing still ends up as two print jobs. The improvement to VFP 9 is that the preview is treated as one print job.
