It is hard to explain combo behaviour on the thread but what I can suggest is explore on the relationship between BOUND, CONTROLSOURCE, ROWSOURCE, ROWSOURCETYPE, COLUMNCOUNT, COLUMNWIDHTS, VALUE, DISPLAYVALUE property events of the control.
BOUND is one of the most important property in a LIST BOX or COMBO box control to be considered.
BOUND is related to CONTROLSOURCE and ROWSOURCE Column No.
