>I have visual foxpro 7.0, and I was wondering the most efficent way to load records to our SQL Server from an .XML file. I was thinking of converting the .XML file to a cursor, and then loading SQL Server from the cursor, but maybe somebody else would have a better idea. I'm kind of a newbie with VFP interacting with SQL Server. TIA!

You can load XML directly into SQL Server. See Bulk Load of XML Data at http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/sqlxml3/htm/bulkload_7pv0.asp?frame=true. Check also SQLXML at http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnanchor/html/anch_SQLXML.asp?frame=true
