I recieved a renewal letter from MSDN saying that my current professional subscription expires at the end of august. Of course I knew this was comming and the price roughly 900 Euro is about the same as last year.

However, Reviewing the last year, I can only come to the conclusion it was a total waste of money. No new major developer tool was included, nor any new release of an operating system. I switched from CDs to DVDs so, at least now I've got a few very comprehensive DVDs that contain about 95% of what I ever want to use.

Of course I know that VFP9 is comming and I want to recieve that one. Also .NET 2005 is comming, and though I do not plan to do anything major with that the comming year(s), it is fine to have that installed on some development computer in my lab.

But then it hit me that 900 Euros (currently about $1,100, tax excl) is way more than I'd pay at amazon.com: ($779.99). I'm not sure if I can buy that as a european citizen and send it to europe. Does anyone know ?

As an alternative I could send it to headquarters in Canada, but I'd rather would recieve it right here?

Any suggestions?
