Solution found, and it was a simple one. I was minimizing the forms while working on them, and the windowstate stayed minimized when I ran them (Of course when I checked the property, I always did it with the state normal, so it looked fine).

Well, I guess I can thank myself for the help now...or is that a personality disorder?
