Hi Bonnie,

The current application is not web-based. Several of my clients, however, have specifically asked if it could be web-based. They want to be able to have mobile access to the application.

Thanks,

TFISHER

>Is your current VFP app web-based? If so, then maybe you want to go that route simply because your current users are used to a web interface. But if not I can't see any reason to do it. I suggest using WebServices for access to your data and continue to use a WinForm GUI. It can be used the same way then for both the big guys and the little guys.

For those larger agencies that have high speed Internet access and want a web-based application, I want to provide it. For those agencies that aren't there yet, I still need to provide a Windows application. I don't want to have to write two completely different applications -- I want to just change the GUI -- if that is possible.

>>>Well, I didn't reply the first time because I don't know of a third party tool that does this. You can use the Browser Control in a WinForm if you want to though, which may be enough.

>>>My question for you is why would you want to "limit" a WinForm app to the functionality of a Web page? IMHO, users prefer the rich UI that a WinForm can give you as opposed to the limited functionality of a Web page.
