If you have clientele that categorically won't allow you to use VFP, then use that as a learning opportunity and not as a basis to rant at MS. If the situation demands a different tool, well then, apply a new tool and be smart enough to do it on someone else's dime - setting the appropriate cost and time expectations.That the way I started in VFP - hardly ever proactively learn something - besides - everything seems to be munging to a universal-automation-script anyway. I would prefer node collections to DBFs and SQL anyway! Maybe someday all data will be cached!
