Unfortunately, I find the VFP development environment extremely buggy when using certain third party controls especially when debugging or recovering from errors (Though much has improved with TRY CATCH FINALLY). So I seldom test forms in the VFP IDE. However there is a quick workarround. When you exclude your form in from the executable you can quickly change forms while the executable is still running, providing about the quickest possible way to develop forms while the forms still are depended on a applic object or alike.
