You have to keep the Binary compatibility.

From the properties of your OCX project, go to the Component tab, select "Binary Compatibility" and browse to the current version of your OCX.

>Hi Everybody,

>I have an “ocx” project in VB 6. I am using this “ocx” in VFP 6. It works fine. However, if I regenerate the ocx file and reregister it (regsvr32 whatever.ocx), the forms that have that ocx won’t open the ocx and say: ”OLE error code 0x80040154: class not registered OLE object is being ignored. Record number 5.“ To make it work, I have to reinsert the ocx in the forms. How may I get rid of this message without this very last step?
