Interesting post...and having vertical market apps in production in both VFP and .NET (with great help from people here on the UT), I agree with your comments.

I use the term 'interesting' because Tracy and Jim Nelson have provided a pretty accurate assessment of how the initial idea was received by many.

What I also find interesting is that I made a brief statement several weeks ago that was basically in line with your last few messages - which prompted the editor of FoxTalk to strongly question my logic. So I'm certainly happy to read this most recent statement from you.
